Elite Email Marketing Partners with Registry Compliance and Protect MI Child

Toronto, ON, and New York, NY (PRWEB) November 20, 2007

Elite Email Marketing software (EliteEmail.com) and Unspam Registry Services, Inc. (RegistryCompliance.com) have joined forces to protect children from adult-oriented emails. Elite Email Marketing is the latest partner to join the Registry Compliance program, which works to ensure email senders comply with the various child protection state registry laws.

The Elite Email Marketing software powers business email marketing campaigns for a wide variety of clients. Some of these clients use email marketing to promote their wineries, tobacco shops and other adult-oriented businesses. Recently, states like Michigan and Utah have instituted laws that prohibit these businesses from sending commercial emails to children.1

“While pornography and offensive content have always been strictly prohibited through our direct email marketing solution, we do have valued clients that operate legitimate adult-oriented businesses. We feel it is particularly important to protect children from these commercial emails,” says Robert Burko, president of EliteEmail.com. “Our partnership with Registry Compliance allows us to assure our clients they will never risk sending adult targeted emails to children in the states that have instituted this important registry.”

Elite Email Marketing’s partnership with Registry Compliance allows the databases of all EliteEmail.com customers operating in adult-targeted markets to be checked against the state registries, and all registered children to be removed from the databases automatically.

“We are proud to welcome Elite Email Marketing into our network of compliance partners,” says Eric Langheinrich, CTO of Unspam Registry Services. “It is great to see that more and more email marketing software providers are taking action to protect America’s children.”

1 In July of 2005, the U.S. states of Michigan and Utah became the first to establish children’s protection registries. These registries are secure collections of e-mail addresses, instant messenger IDs and other types of addresses that are protected from receiving adult-oriented messages.

Monetta Young Investor Fund Partners with Munny Journey: A Dollar A Day May Turn Your Child Into A Millionaire

Wheaton, IL (PRWEB) April 2, 2009

The Monetta Young Investor Fund (http://www.younginvestorfund.com) NASDAQ: MYIFX has established a partnership with Munny Journey (http://www.munnyjourney.com), which offers a keepsake journal for a baby’s first investments. The journal is designed to allow parents to compile a fascinating and comprehensive record of their child’s financial journey through their first years.

“The “Munny Journey” is a great addition to our age-based investment kits for the 1 to 7 year olds,” says Bob Bacarella, Monetta’s president. “It’s both a keepsake journal and an educational tool to help parents get children started on the path to financial security.”

The Munny Journey is a creation of Brad Dugdale, a veteran financial adviser and author of two books on personal finance. The journal is modeled after traditional baby books with two primary themes. The first is the keepsake theme, with pages dedicated to recording financial dreams and memories, such as baby’s first dollar and first investment. The second theme organizes the journal into chapters, with easy to understand text about different investments and concepts, in a new and unique way. The journal’s goal is to present the value of starting an investment plan early, illustrating the magic of compounding interest.

“Most people are shocked to learn a new baby could potentially become a millionaire over their lifetime for one dollar a day,**” says Brad Dugdale. “The key is to start investing that dollar per day in a stock mutual fund, that provides the opportunity to start with a low minimum investment and low additional deposit requirements.”

The Monetta Young Investor Fund is a no-load mutual fund that invests half of its portfolio in Exchange Traded Funds (ETF’s) that track the S&P 500 Index combined with investments in large-cap growth companies that are recognized by most investors. Redwood City, CA (Vocus) May 19, 2009

“Many parents agree with President Obama and Secretary of Education Duncan that responsibility for our children’s education must begin at home,” commented Education.com CEO Dr. Ronald Fortune. “However it’s not always obvious to parents how they should get involved. Education.com and our partners are committed to making sure that all parents can easily access the resources they need to be active and effective participants in the education of their children.” Fortune noted that Education.com leverages the expertise of its not-for-profit partners in a number of innovative ways.

We’re here to provide world-class information, resources, ideas, and inspiration to help parents get involved, stay involved, and be powerful advocates for their children’s education. Give2Asia Partners with KNKS to Increase Donor Engagement with Anti-trafficking Programs in Cambodia

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 11, 2010

Cambodia is a source, transit and destination country for human trafficking. There are between 80,000 and 100,000 commercial sex workers in Cambodia, of which 30% are under 18 years old. Give2Asia, a leading U.S. philanthropic services nonprofit, and Kumar Ney Kdey Sangkheum (KNKS), a Cambodian NGO providing social services for vulnerable children, today announce a fiscal sponsor partnership, which will enable U.S. donors to improve the livelihood, health, human rights and education of Cambodian children.

According to the United Nations Inter-Agency Project on Human Trafficking (UNIAP), human trafficking in Cambodia has increased due to increased poverty, socio-economic imbalance between rural and urban areas, tourism, unemployment, limited education, and poor services for safe migration; poverty is the most significant cause of trafficking. KNKS promotes human rights awareness through community peer education, as well as advocacy and intervention of vulnerable women, children and their families via child rights and women protection networks at all levels.

KNKS, located in Pursat Province, Cambodia, supports the basic human rights of vulnerable children. Their support services include income generation projects, HIV/AIDS awareness education, skills training and the development of community-based self-help organizations.

The services provided by KNKS to marginalized children in Cambodia are critical to the battle against the human trafficking industry, said Ray Klinke, CFO and interim CEO of Give2Asia. Providing donor access to important causes in Asia, such as anti-human trafficking, is key to our mission.

U.S. donors can make tax-deductible donations to Give2Asia in support of KNKS at http://www.give2asia.org/knks, or by making donations to Give2Asia of cash, securities or other assets.

About Kumar Ney Kdey Sangkheum

Washoe County Sheriffs Office Partners with AlertID to Protect Missing and Injured Children

Reno, NV (PRWEB) June 2, 2010

Washoe County Sheriff Mike Haley announced a partnership with AlertID to protect missing and injured children. In an emergency, AlertID will enable the Sheriffs Office to instantly access vital information in order to protect children.

Traditionally the Sheriffs office has encouraged parents to use Child ID kits and fingerprinting. This new system is the first of its kind and goes far beyond identifying a child after there is a problem. It enables the Sheriffs Department to find and protect a child before there is a problem. Parents enter their childs photo, profile and basic health information into a secure portal. This information is then available to emergency services instantly.

Mike Haley, Sheriff of Washoe County had this to say, We are very excited to take protecting children to a whole new level. With this new technology, we are able to begin protecting children the moment a child is reported missing. My officers in the field can have critical information in seconds rather than what used to take hours. In the case of a missing child, the first hour is the most critical. We are encouraging every parent in Washoe County to sign-up for this free service.

AlertID is the first online system to provide parents with protection and assistance in case their children are ever lost or injured, even when theyre not there. It’s a totally private and secure system that instantly gives police, first aid personnel and hospital staff all the vital information they need. It also immediately informs parents and their most trusted friends through text, email and phone if there is ever a problem.

AlertID is launching nationally this summer through the global efforts of companies like AT&T and Overstock.com. AlertIDs goal is to protect 1 million families this year.

AlertIDs co-founder, Eve Fritsche states, Although we are supported and distributed on a national basis, we are especially pleased to protect children in our home state. We appreciate Sheriff Haleys passion for protecting children in Washoe County. AlertIDs founders, Eve Fritsche and Keli Wilson are Nevada natives and live in Washoe County.

Parents can sign up for free at AlertID.com

If your organization or law enforcement group would like to help get parents signed up, please contact Keli

New Life Christian Center, San Antonio, Texas has partnered with EKTIMIS in an innovative fundraiser program designed to support New Beginnings Children’s Home – a new facility built to serve as a transitional home for abused and neglected children in Bexar County (San Antonio and surrounding communities). The fundraiser program is designed around the new EKTIMIS Custom Edition artifact program featuring specially commissioned artistic works that depict hope, innocence of children, as well as a healthy family life.
