Life Lynx, the Leader in Child Identification Products, Announces the Release of Life Lynx 360: Software Designed for Your Family

Dayton, OH (PRWEB) April 19, 2007

Life Lynx, the leader in child identification products, announces the release of Life Lynx 360. Life Lynx 360 is portable software that resides on a USB drive. Life Lynx 360 helps families be prepared by entering their critical information into the 360 software. Then, because it’s designed as a key chain, this information is always available to the owner using any standard Windows computer. Although it started out as a means to protect children, this latest version goes well beyond just a Child ID. This new version now expands the software to encompass everyday family needs. “There are no real organizational tools out there for parents,” says Eric Wilms, founder of Life Lynx. “Parents now have a real family tool.”

Because of the success of the first release called Life Lynx, which is an Electronic Child ID, Life Lynx took that huge customer base of parents and asked those parents what their daily needs are and how software could help them with those tasks. “Life Lynx 360 is software by parents, for parents,” said Wilms.

Life Lynx 360 will store detailed medical information and complete vaccination records. It has a “Friends” list to keep your child’s friends names and parent’s phone numbers. 360 will allow you to print out a baby sitters information sheet (with instructions for the night plus, names and numbers to call in an emergency). The software has a place to store electronic DNA, scanned encrypted photos for passports and other important documents, and even lets you store details of credit card and bank information in case you lose your credit cards or in the event of a disaster at home, you will have a record of those numbers. All encrypted so that only the user can gain access to the data.

And what if you if you lost your Life Lynx 360 key? Life Lynx provides a way to get that back as well. “We even help you recover your lost keys by providing a StuffBak tag,” said Wilms, “The single most asked question we had was what if I lose my key?” StuffBak is a loss protection and recovery service designed to protect today’s important mobile devices and data. Each label is uniquely serialized to provide a convenient and confidential identification method, and includes a recovery service that makes it easy and rewarding for finders who will help get your keys back. Each Life Lynx 360 Safety Key includes a StuffBak label attached to the USB drive.

Life Lynx 360 is rewarding its current customers with a pre-public release reduced price. Life Lynx 360 will be released to the general public May 1st for a suggested retail price of $ 39.95. It includes the USB drive, 360 software and a StuffBak tag.

Software developer Eric Wilms designed the original Safety Key after what he describes as the longest two minutes of his life, which occurred during a family trip to the zoo. When Wilms and his wife turned their backs for a split second, they couldn’t locate their twin daughters. After the relief of finding them playing near a drinking fountain, Wilms realized parents need an action plan for such a situation, and the Life Lynx Safety Key was born.

M5 Networks Announces 600th Client, 100 Million Phone Calls and 1,000 Locations

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 13, 2007

M5 Networks, the market leader in delivering phone system functionality as a service, today announced it has achieved three major milestones. M5 has added its 600th client, the West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG), the alumni association of the United States Military Academy (USMA). In addition, M5 now serves over 1,000 client locations throughout the country and has placed more than 100 million phone calls in its seven year history.

The West Point AOG’s staff of 75 employees benefits from M5’s recently-launched, innovative “Voice as a Service” model. In particular, M5’s [Embedded Continuity, which goes beyond basic business continuity, was a major factor in attracting the organization to M5. “It is very comforting to know that we are prepared with a plan in place to redirect our phone calls in case of an emergency situation,” said Tom Mulyca, VP of Information Systems for West Point Association of Graduates. “Non-stop dial tone from M5 ensures that we not only have protection in critical situations, but also allows us to improve overall productivity within the organization.”

Established in 1869, the WPAOG is the alumni association of the USMA. As a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation, the WPAOG engages in philanthropic pursuits and is dedicated to promoting the welfare of the USMA, supporting and serving its graduates.

“Our goal, first and foremost, is to serve West Point’s graduates, who are based all over the country and the world. M5 provides a reliable means of communications, which helps us to provide graduates with effective services and gives us the time and resources to better serve alumni,” said Mulyca. “M5’s client focus and service orientation is by far the best we’ve encountered from a service provider.”

M5 recently pioneered a new paradigm for business communications, “Voice as a Service,” which is driving the company’s explosive growth. Within one year, M5’s staff has nearly doubled, and the customer base has increased by 35 percent. In the first five years of operation, M5 grew its revenues by 4,445 percent.

Counting more than 100 million phone calls and serving over 1,000 locations across the U.S., M5 was recently named by AMI-Partners as one of the largest providers of hosted VoIP in the country and one of the first providers businesses consider for hosted VoIP services. M5 boasts one of the highest average seat numbers per location when compared with other major hosted VoIP providers, while maintaining the strictest SLAs, including 99.99 percent location uptime and a less than five percent annual churn rate.

“For the first seven years in M5’s history, we were the poster child for rock-solid, quality business communications, offering the best hosted VoIP service available on the market,” said Dan Hoffman, president & CEO, M5 Networks. “But that was the beginning. We believe Voice as a Service will transform the way mid-size companies do business, and we are poised to ride the wave of growth over the next seven years.”

Located in the recently completed Herbert Hall Alumni Center, the Association is the focal point for returning alumni. IPOWER Applications Announces New Child Internet Monitoring Portal

Cranston, Rhode Island (PRWEB) September 20, 2007

IPOWER Applications Inc. (http://www.doyoupowwow.com) is proud to announce the launching of their flagship Child internet monitoring portal known as Home Pow Wow. This child protection community portal is a place where parents can monitor the family’s activity any time, from anywhere. This allows for parents to protect their children from the luring dangers of child predators, class room bullies, or other peer pressures and adversities present in the complex lives of today’s children.

The world is not the place that it once was where parents could see each person that a child came in contact with. Today children spend time on the internet, often at the request of teachers who have asked for extensive research to be done. Unfortunately when children get online parents have no idea who children may be interacting with, and this ignorance can prove to be devastating to children as well as whole families and communities. Not allowing children to get online is not the answer, seeking out better monitoring devices is the answer.

IPOWER Applications, Inc. has created a comprehensive online monitoring portal whereby parents set the security permission levels that are appropriate for their children. The system allows for parents to monitor the behavior of a child on the internet with real time notifications of inappropriate websites and will also protect children form online predators, classroom bullies, and other peer pressure that may take place by instant messaging and in chat rooms. Parents can receive updates on cell phones and through email to keep up to date with any activity occurring on a home computer.

IPOWER Applications states, “A parent is able to protect a child while online with Child internet monitoring. This is a type of software tool that allows a parent to monitor a child’s activities when online, and with IPOWER Applications’ Home Pow Wow web portal we can offer you the best products on the market.” Internet threats are very real and it is something that all parents must consider. IPOWER Applications Inc. has helped many families provide a greater sense of security to their children.

Custody Calculations Announces A Contest For The Brilliant Who Want to Strut Their Stuff

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) October 11, 2007

Background: Custody Calculations announces a unique job search and contest. We are seeking a brilliant marketing person who missed an opportunity to be on the ground floor of Microsoft, Apple, Amazon or Google. Someone who wants that “big break” so they can strut their stuff.

When Custody Calculations is a multi million dollar company, words like, could have, should have, but didn’t is not something than anyone is going to want to say to themselves. For someone this is that big break so we encourage participants to grab onto and strut their stuff!

CEO, Catherine MacWillie, stated we are a young start up company, with the next big, really big idea for the internet. So we decided to get creative ourselves and have a contest of our own. Past interviews and a resume we are looking someone with the ability to obtain results, using creativeness, contacts and any other sensational ideas that may be of value. The goal is to launch our company and to locate the most brilliant and creative PR person out there.

The winner receives a cash prize of $ 1,500.00. If the winner is as brilliant as we hope and we are as successful in our pre sales as anticipated there may also be a job in it for the winner, employment is not guaranteed. But Custody Calculations would be crazy to let an applicant go if they can advertise without a budget, call on friends and associates and get us huge media attention.

On the bright side the applicant might just come out of it with $ 1,500.00 in your their pockets and significant media attention for themselves – if they do it correctly that is the key. Whether or not the job is with Custody Calculations is to still to early to tell. That’s more than most job applicants get for their trouble.

So here is how it works. Whoever can provide Custody Calculations with the most media coverage, and business, notice both are required to win, over a sixty day period of time. Contest commences November 1, 2007. Contestants will be encouraged to try television shows like, 24 Hours, Oprah, or morning shows, like The View, radio shows like Rush Limbaugh, NPR, KFI, Tom and Ken, articles in magazines such as Time, W Magazine, Forbes, stories in newspapers, such as Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco wins. Points are assigned based on visibility of PR and additional points for sign ups, on our various web sites.

Now here is the part where we get serious. The services of our company will save lives. A retired law enforcement officer, CEO, Catherine MacWillie, spent ten years in research on the issue of family law identifying that perhaps as much as 25% of all crime is related to family law; homicides, suicides, kidnappings, abductions, domestic violence, child abuse, violation of court orders. Ultimately this contest is really more about saving lives. Lives like Samy and Lindsey who were only 7 and 8 years old when they were murdered by one of their parents. Angry and mad over their divorce and wanting to punish the other parent, a parent killed their own children. This contest and search is really more about making sure that we never have to bury more children like Samy and Lindsey because of the divorce process ever again! So whether people participate for the possibility of the contest money, job or just want to make a difference and save lives we welcome their participation.

Participants can download articles from our web sites to learn more about the company; brochures, video, press releases, contestants may also contact the CEO for interviews in the media etc. However articles must be original to the contestants. We do not want thirty applicants all contacting the same producers with the same story. Articles must reflect that they are part of contest submission and were not reviewed by the company prior to submission to the producer or media outlet.

We have three web sites, Custody Calculations, http://www.CustodyCalculations.com. This is our promotion web site. We are in beta testing now and expect to launch soon. Our two additional web sites, Teens Against Bad Divorces, http://www.TeensAgainstBadDivorces.com, and The Power Of The Ten Dollar Bill Campaign, http://www.TenDollarBillCampaign.com.

We are putting together a link that you will be able to obtain further contest rules and information, but in the meantime contestants can email/contact us at the company with any questions until the link is posted. Pre-registration is required.

Custody Calculations is seeking Heroes. Heroes is the name to describe volunteers at our company. Heroes are people who want to save lives, protect children, help families recover from the divorce process ad reform family law. To learn more about Custody Calculations, go to http://www.CustodyCalculations.com or contact them at 702-375-9389.

The Homeland Security specialization focuses on managing public security in relation to federal resources, while the Security Management specialization focuses on preparing individuals for leadership within the private security field.

“Since the Department of Homeland Security was created in 2001, it has grown into one of the largest federal agencies, and there are also many homeland security employment opportunities within other federal agencies and state and local governments. MyRapidMD Announces National Launch: Free Lifetime Medical Alert ESP Memberships

Marina Del Rey, CA (PRWEB) March 10, 2008

MyRapidMD Corp (“the Company” or “MRMD”) a developer of Meaningful Personal Mobile Content and the developer of the award winning personal medical alert service – the Emergency Service Profile (ESP) cell phone application, today announced free lifetime ESP memberships to the first 1000 subscribers as part of its national launch campaign.

Once ESP is installed on a cell phone, the proprietary and potentially lifesaving ESP application provides users personal Emergency Service Profile, including photo identification, at the accident or medical emergency scene to first responders immediately, and without the need of a service connection.

ESP, based on a global emergency assessment protocol used by first responders at emergency scenes, contains information of only one individual, no financial, social security or address information so the ESP information only has value to the user, and the first responder seeking their ESP information. ESP allows first responders to treat users more efficiently, effectively, and accurately in an accident, medical emergency, in transit to the ER and at the ER because now they have immediate access to users Emergency Service Profile when information and time count most, that first hour.

“Time and quality information are your best hope for survival in an emergency. ESP just makes too much sense; a ring tone, movie or game on your cell phone is not going to help me save the life of your child, your senior parent or you in an emergency or accident,” said Chief Richard Cole, Chairman of the MyRapidMD Emergency Services Advisory Board, whose members have over 100 years of collective Emergency Response experience.

The Emergency Service Profile is exactly that said Mr. Mark White President and founder, “It provides the critical emergency information and photo ID about a person in an accident or medical emergency. It is not trying to provide an extensive personal health or medical history record of a person, that’s what online medical record services such as Microsoft’s Health vault, Google Health or WebMD’s PHR do, among others. Simply put, time and information saves lives and the trickle down effects directly benefit healthcare, emergency services and their relevant providers. Our goal is to deliver that information as quickly and effectively as possible when needed.”

A large majority of service providers and cell or smart phone handsets, including Blackberries, are ESP compatible. Verizon’s “Get it Now” browser and the Apple iPhone both currently block outside third party applications. Non- “Get it Now” Verizon customers can however install ESP. If in doubt, go to http://www.myrapidmd.com and select “test your phone”.

Both Verizon and Apple have however, indicated they will make Software Development Kits (SDK’s) available to content developers by the middle of 2008 and we will develop ESP applications for these devices as soon as they are available.

ESP is not about games, ring tones or movies, it’s about your life, your peace of mind and your safety.

Even if their phone is not ESP compatible right now, users still need to sign up. Why? Because they still get all the benefits of the ESP membership pack. And when they do change phones or service providers, login to their ESP account and send your ESP to their cell phone, it’s that simple.

With a free Lifetime ESP Membership users receive:

24/7 access to their password protected ESP via the website.
ESP wallet and key chain cards with member ID number.
ESP stickers for a phone and a car windshield decal.
ESP refrigerator magnet for the home with their Name, Sex, Member ID number and 24/7 toll-free call center phone number.
24/7 toll-free automated call center, in case their phone is lost, broken or unavailable. First responders can call to retrieve their full ESP details.
256 bit SSL security: twice the industry standard to protect their information in transit.
To see full ESP membership details go to http://www.myrapidmd.com/benefits.

“There are more than 230 million cells phones in the USA and more than 70% of children over the age of 8 have them or have used them. Cell phones are an inherent part of the American lifestyle and at MyRapidMD we believe your phone should to do more than text, talk & entertain we believe it should care!” said Mr. Damien Vallernaud, MyRapidMD COO.

ESP was selected from over 400 new products and services by EMS magazine, considered the leading global authority on the EMS industry, as one of the top product picks at the National EMS Expo in Orlando, FL in October of 2007. Additionally, MyRapidMD has received one of twelve invitations to present and demonstrate ESP at the Coalition for Disaster Management Solutions Conference (CDMS) sponsored by F.E.M.A. Region IX and The American Red Cross in San Francisco on March 312008.

To learn more about MyRapidMD’s personal medical alert service, ESP and its potentially lifesaving benefits, log onto http://www.myrapidmd.com or contact them directly at (877)9GET-MRMD.

Act fast to take advantage of MyRapidMD’s national launch promotion by signing up now to get a membership free for life. No sign up fee and no annual renewal fee. Go to http://www.myrapidmd.com and click “Sign Up”. At the payment page, enter Promo Code MRMD08CES to get a free lifetime membership.

In today’s world it pays to be prepared for life’s unexpected emergencies.

“Does your phone have ESP?”

Privately held MyRapidMD is the developer of the Emergency Service Profile (ESP) proprietary software application. Designed specifically for cell phones and smart phones, the ESP medical alert service provides a concise Emergency Service Profile based on an internationally recognized victim assessment protocol used by first responders. MyRapidMD has formatted this protocol into a medical alert mobile software application that also attaches a photo of the cell phone owner to confirm their identity in emergency or accident situations. ESP is easily retrieved and displayed by first responders on the victim’s cell phone at the emergency or accident scene. Developed in concert with Firefighters, Paramedics, Emergency Room Nurses and other first responders,

MyRapidMD’s ESP turns the cell phone into an efficient and effective emergency information tool at the emergency scene and while the patient/victim is in transit to the ER.

TAALK Announces Daily E-Mail Tips to Educate the Public on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention

Laguna Niguel, California (PRWEB) April 24, 2008

In support of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, TAALK is launching a daily e-mail tip series on child sexual abuse prevention called TAALK Tips. To sign up for the program, simply visit http://www.taalk.org/taalk_tips.html .

One in four girls and one in six boys is sexually abused before the age of 18. These problems often appear as depression and suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, drug and alcohol dependencies, school and/or financial failure, teenage pregnancy and promiscuity and criminal behavior.

” Child sexual abuse is clearly a community problem, but child sexual abuse prevention is a personal decision,” said TAALK’s founder, Diane Cranley. “Protecting children from sexual abuse doesn’t come naturally, it’s a skill set that every adult must learn if they want to protect the children in their circle of influence.”

According to Cranley, “The TAALK Tips e-mail series is a convenient way for adults to learn new behaviors that will significantly lower the risk of abuse and the daily delivery is the best way to keep these newly formed behaviors top-of-mind until they become habit.”

Child sexual abuse is a major public health issue that demands the public’s attention. Anyone concerned about preventing child sexual abuse in their community is encouraged to subscribe to TAALK Tips.

TAALK’s founder, Diane Cranley, is available for general interviews as well as her TAALK Tips daily radio interview series. She can be reached at 1-888-808-6558.
